Our parent company

Intrinsic (Intrinsic Partnership Limited) is a wholly owned subsidiary of The City Partnership (UK) Limited (“City”), a well-established and successful provider of corporate and fund services. However, as our work demonstrates, we operate far beyond the financial services realm.

City has grown steadily since its launch in 2006. It has invested in expanding its service portfolio to better support its clients’ ambitions, and continues to extend its service range. City has earned a reputation for courtesy and fairness, for adding value through service innovation, and for always striving to exceed client expectations.

City is wholly owned by its directors and independent of any other business. Its founder and Managing Director is Robin Smeaton. Before launching City, Robin was chief executive of the business services arm of a merchant bank, developing a corporate and fund services business with funds of some £1.5bn under administration and 200 UK fund management clients.
City is registered with the FCA as an Annex 1 Financial Institution.
